Heating & Air Conditioner Services in Wichita, Andover, Augusta and Maize

There are different types of issues that can arise with your vehicle’s heating and cooling system and these issues can range from something as small as a clogged drain hose to something as major as an air conditioning unit that has stopped functioning. Not all repairs are the same and not all issues will require the same level of expertise. As a general rule of thumb, the more expensive the car, the more important it is that the car receive the correct level of maintenance.

Heater and AC Belt Repair & Replacement

Heater and AC belt repair and replacement are necessary when one of the belt’s sheathing is cracked, split, or worn out, causing the belt to break or slip. The most common repair for these belts is to replace the sheathing. This is because the sheathing is what holds the belt together and allows it to turn the compressor and heater. Another common repair is to install a new belt.

Compressor Repair & Replacement

Your compressor is the heart of your air conditioning system and without it your AC won’t work. Most compressors last anywhere from 8 to 12 years. If you’ve been on the road for a few years and your AC is not cooling like it used to or it is making a loud whining/grinding noise, then it’s time to have your compressor repaired or replaced.

Evaporator Repair & Replacement

Evaporator repair or replacement is the recommended course of action when your evaporator is leaking or not functioning properly. We recommend having your evaporator repaired or replaced as soon as possible to prevent further damage, and to ensure the proper operation of your air conditioning system. What are the symptoms of an Evaporator Issue: Ice build-up, Leaking at hoses or connections, Leaking at seams or joints, Decreased coolant flow, Failed to operate. Keep your air conditioning system clean by washing your air filters! After washing your air filter, make sure it is dry before placing back in your air conditioning system. The main cause of evaporator issues is clogged air conditioning system lines. Air conditioning lines are very susceptible to the development of clogs, which can eventually cause issues with your evaporator. To avoid these clogged air conditioning lines, make sure you wash your air filter frequently!

Heating System Repair & Service for my car?

Heating system repair and service will keep your car’s heating system in good working order and prevent future problems from occurring. Whether you have an older car that needs some TLC or your car’s heating system has gone bad, you should get it repaired or serviced. Depending on the severity of the problem and the age of your car, you may need a new heating system.

Refrigerant Replacement

The reason you should be concerned about your refrigerant level is that it can cause serious problems with your air conditioner. The main issue that can happen when the level of refrigerant dwindles is that your air conditioner will no longer be able to properly cool your car. It could cause the air conditioner to stop working altogether or make the air conditioner work inefficiently, resulting in your car being uncomfortably hot.
